Ordering & Production
Are your veils handmade?
Yes. Every Madame Tulle veil is handmade to order with care and attention to detail.
How long will my veil take to be made?
As all veils are handmade to order, production times vary depending on the individual design and level of detail.
Please refer to the product description on each listing for the current turnaround time before placing your order.
We recommend ordering your veil as early as possible before your wedding date to allow time for production and delivery.
Can I request a rush order?
Possibly. Please contact us before placing your order to check whether we currently have the capacity to accommodate a rush order.
As all veils are handmade to order, rush availability depends on our current workload and production schedule.
Please note that approved rush orders will incur an additional rush fee.
Do you accept custom veil designs?
At this stage, we do not accept fully custom veil designs or recreate designs from other brands or images.
Can your existing veil designs be customised?
Yes. We can offer limited customisation on many of our original veil designs.
Customisation options may include:
- Adjusting veil length or width
- Adding more or fewer pearls or embellishments
- Adding personalised embroidery or wording
- Minor adjustments to design details
If you would like to discuss customisation options for one of our existing designs, please contact us before placing your order.
Do you offer embroidery services on veils purchased elsewhere?
No. We only offer embroidery on Madame Tulle veils.
Because bridal tulle is an extremely delicate fabric, embroidery requires careful handling during the production process. To ensure the quality and integrity of each piece, we are unable to embroider veils purchased from other brands or suppliers.
This helps us maintain the highest standard of workmanship while reducing the risk of damage to delicate fabrics.
Will I receive an order confirmation?
Yes. Once your order has been successfully placed, you’ll receive an email confirmation with your order details.

Veil Colours & Fabrics
What colours are available?
Our veils are available in:
- Soft White
- Ivory
Please note that our Soft White tulle is a soft bridal white and not a stark bright white.
What fabric do you use?
We use premium bridal illusion tulle (nylon) selected for its soft drape, lightweight feel, and elegant finish.
Can I purchase fabric samples or swatches?
Yes. We offer sample swatches so you can compare colours and fabrics before ordering your veil.

Will the colours look exactly the same in person?
We do our best to accurately display colours in our product photography. However, colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings and lighting.

Shipping & Delivery
Do you ship Australia-wide?
Yes, we ship across Australia.
Do you offer international shipping?
Yes, we offer international shipping to selected countries. Shipping availability and rates will be shown at checkout.
How long will shipping take?
Shipping times vary depending on your location and shipping method selected at checkout.
Please note that shipping time is separate from production time.
We offer complimentary shipping on veil orders.
Within Australia, orders are shipped via Express Post and typically arrive within 2–5 business days after dispatch.
For international orders, delivery timeframes vary by destination:
- Standard shipping: approximately 2–4 weeks
- Express (EMS): approximately 1–2 weeks
- DHL Express: approximately 3–7 business days
How can I track my order?
Once your order has been dispatched, you’ll receive a tracking number via email.
What if my parcel is delayed?
While we aim to deliver orders promptly, delays can occasionally occur due to postal services, customs processing, or peak periods.

How do I choose the right veil length?
Each product listing includes veil length information and styling photos to help you choose the perfect option for your gown and wedding style.
Can you help me choose a veil?
Absolutely. We’re happy to help you select a veil that complements your dress, hairstyle, venue, and overall bridal look.

Do your veils work with all hairstyles?
Most veils can be styled with a variety of bridal hairstyles including updos, half-up styles, buns, ponytails, and loose waves.

Returns & Exchanges
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
As all items are handmade to order, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind.
Due to the delicate and hygiene-sensitive nature of bridal veils and accessories, we are also unable to accept returns on ready-to-ship items.
Our veils are worn close to the face and hair and are made from fine, delicate materials that require careful handling. For hygiene and quality assurance reasons, returned items cannot be restocked or resold.
We kindly encourage you to carefully review all product details, measurements, colours, and descriptions before placing your order. If you have any questions, please contact us before purchasing and we’ll be happy to help.
What if my item arrives faulty or incorrect?
If you receive an incorrect or faulty item, please contact us within 3 days of delivery via email.
Once approved, we will arrange a replacement or refund.
Returned items must be:
- Unused and in new condition
- Free from perfume or scents
- Returned with original tags, packaging, and accessories
If a replacement is required, we will advise the estimated rush production timeframe before dispatching your new item.

Can I order a veil to try on and return if it doesn’t suit?
As all veils are handmade to order specifically for each bride, we do not offer returns for change of mind or trial purchases.
We kindly ask that you carefully check the veil style, length, and colour before placing your order.
To help you choose the best match for your gown, we highly recommend purchasing our tulle swatches before ordering your veil.

Can I cancel my order?
We accept cancellation requests for wedding veils and garters within 3 days of purchase only.
To request a cancellation, please email us at veils@madametulle.com.au within 3 days of placing your order.
Once your cancellation is approved, a full refund will be processed. Refunds may take approximately 5–10 business days to appear in your account depending on your payment provider.
Please note that cancellation requests must be made via email. We are unable to process cancellations through Instagram, Facebook, Messenger, or other social media platforms.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Because production may begin quickly after purchase, order changes or cancellations are not always possible.
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need assistance.

Care Instructions
How should I care for my veil?
Your veil has been carefully handcrafted from delicate bridal tulle and should be handled with care.
We recommend hanging your veil upon arrival to allow any creases to naturally fall out.
For longer veil styles, hang from a high point or gently drape the veil over a hanger.
If needed, creases can be carefully removed using a garment steamer. Hold the steamer approximately 10–15 cm away from the fabric and check regularly while steaming.
Alternatively, a cool iron may be used with a clean white cloth or sheet placed between the iron and the veil.
Important Care Notes
- Avoid stepping on the veil to prevent damage or slipping
- Embellished veils containing pearls, crystals, or beads may include small parts
- Keep veils away from children and pets
- Store your veil in a clean, dry area away from direct sunlight
